What you can expect when you hire Pool Safety Inspector:

The Pool Safety Inspector's role is to inspect the pool to determine whether it complies with the current standard.

After inspection, if the pool is compliant, the inspector will issue a pool safety certificate.

However if the pool doesn’t meet the required standard, a non-conformity notice will be issued. If, after two days the pool has been brought to compliancy, a certificate will be issued on re-inspection. Otherwise the Non-confirmity  notice will be in effect.

We recommend you have your pool checked by Pool Safety Inspector to ensure you always remain compliant.

Engaging a Pool Safety Inspector

If you want advice about your pool, the fence or a barrier, you can engage an inspector on a consultancy basis for advice only. This low cost service allows you to purchase with confidence.

Pool Gates

image7

A pool gate must self-close and self-latch, without any application of force from any position, including when it is resting on the latch.        In many cases when a pool fails inspection the gate is found to be faulty. It’s also vitally important that pool gate is never propped open.

Pool gates that are propped open, incorrectly closed or latched account for almost 40% of backyard pool drownings in children under the age of 5.
